Install from the official browser stores — no ZIP download. Save multiple proxies, switch in one click, and use the Bandwidth Estimator on CORS-blocked URLs (extension bridges the measure when installed).
Firefox
Open Firefox Add-ons, click Add to Firefox, approve permissions, then reload the Bandwidth Estimator if you use CORS measures.
Add to FirefoxPermissions (both)
- storage — proxy list on your device only (not uploaded to Chilly servers)
- proxy — route browser traffic when you tap Connect
- webRequestAuthProvider (+ webRequest on Firefox) — proxy login when required
- <all_urls> — only when you measure a URL (e.g. Bandwidth Estimator); one-time allow per host
- chillyproxy.com script — lets the Bandwidth tool call the extension for CORS-safe measures you start; does not run on other sites
Privacy & data
The extension is optional. Proxy credentials and lists stay in your browser storage. Bandwidth measurements run locally; we do not store your measured URLs on our servers. Full disclosure: Privacy Policy — browser extension.
