What is this free online bandwidth estimator?

A browser-based calculator that measures HTTP response size, projects total download (requests/day × days × parallel jobs), and optional USD cost per GB. No account — measurement runs on your device, not on Chilly servers.

What is Single API vs Multi API mode?

Single API — one URL, Measure, and bytes go straight to Project usage. Multi API — measure each endpoint, click Next to add it (form clears for the next URL), sizes sum in an equation (e.g. 2 KB + 8 KB = 10 KB per workflow run), and Project usage uses that total.

How do I estimate bandwidth for multiple APIs in one workflow?

Choose Multi API → Measure → Next → repeat for each endpoint. Set Requests per day to how many times the full workflow runs, not each API alone. Remove drops one line; Clear all resets the list.

How does response size measurement work?

HEAD (fast, Content-Length when available), GET, or POST with a required request body. https:// is added if you enter only a hostname. Custom headers (Authorization, cookies, etc.) are sent from your browser. Strict sites use the Chilly Proxy extension when installed.

Can I measure API size when CORS blocks the browser page?

Yes. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox), reload this page, and Measure. Same HEAD/GET logic without the page CORS limit. Extension privacy — data stays on your device.

Does it work for Hotmail, Outlook, Google, or banking URLs?

Those domains block cross-origin calls from normal websites. Use the extension, or test open APIs without it. Enter URL or hostname — HTTPS is applied automatically.

How do I estimate scraping or automation bandwidth?

Single API for one response; Multi API to sum several per job. Set requests/day, days, and parallel jobs for per-day and total GB. Enter Price per GB for USD estimate, or type bytes manually from logs.

How is total bandwidth and cost calculated?

Per day ≈ bytes per request (or multi-API sum) × requests/day × parallel jobs. Total download ≈ per day × days. Est. cost = total GB × price per GB. Body download per measure capped at 25 MB when needed.

Is signup required? Do you store my URLs or headers?

No signup. Math and measurement run locally; Chilly Proxy does not receive your URLs or tokens. Refresh to clear. Production proxies: pricing.
